Trust

 

What is trust? What does it mean? Trust means- firm belief or confidence in the honesty, integrity, reliability, justice, etc. of another person or thing; faith; reliance.

 

Now that we know what it really means, in.

 

 2 Samuel 22:3 ) The God of my rock; in him will I trust: he is my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower, and my refuge, my savior; thou savest me from violence.

 

1 Timothy 4:10 ) For therefore we both labor and suffer reproach, because we trust in the living God, who is the Savior of all men, specially of those that believe.

 

Here was two men, David of the Old Testament, and Paul of the New Testament. Both who had trust in the living God. So I ask you, where or who do you trust when time are rough? Its is easy to trust God  when everything is easy. What about the other times, a lost family member, lost of a job, lack of money for food or bills, or not able to get the things your kids would like for Christmas or on their Birthday?

It is human nature for us to try to fix these problems our self, or try to find some other person to help. Like a best friend, our parents, or pastor, or a place to go to forget about are problem like a bar to drown them away with alcohol, a church to get other to make us feel better about are self, these things don't take care of the problems, they just make then fade away for a while. Anything that only has humans involved will not work. Humans are sinners, and are very unpredictable, always changing. God is the only constant thing we have in are life. God is unchanging, from the beginning to the end of time. God will take care of you. All you have to do is Trust Him.

 

Ask Jesus Christ into your life today.

Forgotten truth of Christmas

 

 

please read Matthew 1:18-2:12. now after reading the next two verses reread and see it means more to you.

 

 

Matthew 1:23  Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted, God with us.

 

virgin-a woman, especially a young woman, who has not had sexual intercourse .

 

intercourse- the sexual joining of two individuals:

 

     Now days a lot more churches are teaching that Mary was not a virgin, but a young lady. Plus they change the spelling of Emmanaul to Immanaul. It may not seem like a lot is change, but you say something does. Behold is a powerful word, it means to hold in view or attention, something special, where the new so call bibles do not hold this to your attention. Those books make just make it sound like it not really important. To be a virgin is very special too, that mean no opposite sex partner. She was a special young lady.

 

Matthew 2:11 And when they were come into the house, they saw the young child with Mary his mother, and fell down, and worshipped him: and when they had opened their treasures, they presented unto him gifts; gold, and frankincense, and myrrh.

 

house- a building for human beings to live in; specifically a building or part of a building occupied by one family or tenant;

 

young-being in early period of life or growth; not old.

 

child- a boy or girl in the period before puberty.

 

puberty- the state of physical development when it is first possible to beget or bear children; in most places the legal age of puberty is fixed at fourteen for boys, and twelve for girls.

 

     Here we see the wise men worshipping Jesus as a young child in a house! Wow that is a lot to take in, Where is the stable, a house is not a stable. How many kings show up? My King James Bible said wise men, and it does not put a number on how many. So is a young child a new born baby? So is the Bible wrong or are all the years of seeing all the displays around churches and other places wrong. Now please just do not just take my word for it. Take the time to look up these verses and meaning of words too. then let me know what you find out.

The baby that was born to die for you and me

 

 

   Jesus was born to die for your and my sins. This is what Christmas is about. Not what we can get for others or what we get others. Not who has the biggest Christmas tree, or the most lights on the house and yard. How about the people who work and think it just a week or two of  holiday  paid. Nor is it a time to see who has the biggest party and get drunk.

 

   Jesus was born so you and I can be with the I AM (God). Jesus was born to teach us the how to and what not to be with God.

 

 

   Jesus was born to take a beating for us. Jesus was born to have nails hammer in to his hands and feet for us. To be hung on that hard wooden cross. Bleeding and bruised. naked and shamed. This is what Jesus was born for.

 

   My sin are forgiven because of this tiny baby boy, who was born in a stable, that smells of horse and cows and oxen. This baby started life out rough and die the same way, ROUGH.

 

   So as you set back this year in your warm heated house, soft chairs, warm bed, and dream of how bad you have it. Think of why we celebrate Christmas.

 

   Remember that little baby that save your life. A king that was forgotten and no one wanted then. I ask you are you wanting that King now in all his glory. Jesus that Baby did all the hard work for you. Now all you have to  is ask him in to your black, sinful heart and He will clean it and make you a better person.

Which Gate are you Heading for?

 

 

Matthew 7:13-20

 

13) enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in there at.

14) Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto unto life, and few there be that find it.

15)  Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.

16) Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?

17) Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit: But a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.

18) A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit. neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

19) Every tree that bringeth not good forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

20) Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.

 

I would like to talk to you about the people around you that you listen to. The people that you look up in time of need and sorrow.  These people will help you fine your way through life and make you who you are and where you end up at.

 

You have your friends, Pastor, your church members, all these people have to be look at and examined. Are they telling you thing that will lead you to God or away from him to the devil?

 

In these last days which could be today or a thousand years from now, there are going to be faults teachers, and others trying to lead from God. So my friend who are you following today, and where are they leading you to. Heaven or Hell.

 

We are told in these verses that the people that we follow will have good fruits or bad fruits. Bad will take us to hell, and good will take us to heaven. The only real way to know if the church we attend or the preacher we learn from, or how about the friend we talk to and listen to them and there ideas. We have to pick up the King James Bibles and start to read it, look for answers from it.  See if what the preacher preach to day really is what he was say came from the bible, or how about those church members, are they quoting the verse right and do they really mean what they are telling you? How do there fruits add up. Are they working for God or the devil? Look at them and see if they really are doing work for God or are they blow a big smoke screen up?  The Bible is the only way to prove or disprove them.  Anyone can make them look good. Tests there works, see how they really live. It is your life. Jesus is waiting for you to follow him. He paid the price for are sins. The devil make the world look good now, but hell is a one way. No turn around, no redo over, So please call to Jesus and fellow him to heaven.

Thanksgiving

 

    On this day we all have something special plan, going to family members, seeing friends, having a big meal with others or just staying home and enjoying the quietness of are own family. (or just being alone). 

 

     Let us not forget all Jesus has done for us today. All his suffering on the cross and the day before. The time he spent in death for us. Then the best is he rose up from death to be in heaven so we to can be there with God and Jesus. 

 

    Let us not forget to thank God for the food, shelter, heat, work, all the things we have. For the love one's around us. It is all God that gives us or don't. 

 

I want you all to know I believe that God is in control of everything around me. I believe God is the only God, and He give or don't give me every thing I have. That is what I am thankful for.  I am his son through Jesus Christ. 

 

I hope you all are thankful like me and let God know.

How do you fellowship in church

 

     fellowship- a mutual sharing, as of experience, activity, interest.

 

 

          This word means a lot to me and how the church has change is the last years. We go to church to hear about what everyone is doing or did. Church is a place for us to learn about God and His son Jesus Christ.  I remember in years past as a child and teenager, you when to church to listen and when you walk in you sat down and held your shut.  You didn't go talking to someone else even if they were beside you.  You sat there and thought of God.  Seem like today you go to see what people are going to be doing or did. How about the so call fellowship get together at the church.  You hear the prayer for the dinner or opening of the get together and that the last you hear about God.

 

 

     If would read Philemon2:1, 1John 1:3-7.   you would see how we are suppose to fellowship.  Talking about God, what Jesus has done for us this last week. Ask question to learn on how to trust in Jesus more.  What we read in the Bible, how it helps us out.

 

Maybe we need to return to the fellowship of years past and maybe this time we are living in would be getting better. Just something to be thinking about and praying about.

 

     Don't forget about the cost that Jesus gave you this Thanks Giving!

How do we act when someone does us wrong

 

In Genesis 37 -48

 

    Here is Joseph, from early age being sold as a slave by his brothers, going through all his teen life and more with out his father or mother, getting throw in prison, plus more. How does he handle him self. We read these chapter and are surprise at his action. He does not blame God for it, he does not yell and scream at his brothers, he blames no one.  He trust in God to look out for him. In fact he grows strong in the faith of God. At the time we think he can get it and worst he surprise us and God make than better for him.

 

So I am asking you today. How do you control your anger. When you get blame for something, do you listen and learn from it even if it is not your fault, or do you shout and scream and curse blue in the face.  Do you say how unfair life is? Do you start shooting off at the mouth and blame some else even if you don't know who did what?  Every day we hear people talking about us, good or bad. How do you take it.  Are you like Joseph and goes to God for protection, or do you let it boil; your blood until everyone hear you shooting off?  I know I wish I was more like Joseph. That way other could see  my Faith in God at work. I hate to hear other use my God's name in vain. How does that look if I did that, wouldn't be a true walk with Jesus if I did that. Would make people think I like to talk the talk but can't walk the path on a Christian. Sure we are going to slip, but the different is a pig like to be dirty all the time. A lamb like to be clean, so when you slip do you stay in the mud of sin or do you get up and ask Jesus for help and forgiveness. I want to follow Joseph way of life, following God's way. Because Jesus tell us to love are neighbor and other that do us wrong. For Jesus with take care of us and when the time is right, God will get even for us on all those who done us wrong. Trust me, it will be a lot harder on them then anything we could do. So in closing read about Joseph and try to follow the path that he took, we will come out on top because we are following God.

I had some one at work ask me if I thought praying really works. I look at him in a surprise look, and told him yes I do. I then went on to tell him that all prayers will be answer but not at are time but God's time. But now as I think about him and how I answer him in what little time I had as we were working, there more to praying then just thinking it and hoping. 

You must be in tune with Jesus before you ask. We have to get on are knees and ask forgiveness of are sins and mean it, you have to clean your heart, because your prayer comes from the heart, not from your head. a clean heart is the only way God will listen.
